I could tell you about myself, but I don’t know if you’d be entertained. I use the word entertained purposefully and quite intentionally. People are not interested anymore, they are entertained. So, I could tell you about myself, but should I?

I could tell you about my good side and my bad side, about my wimpy side and my artistic side, and my romantic side and round and round we go, but never reach our destination because what is the final goal in describing oneself to people? Where is the end of the road? There isn’t one because we can’t really tell others about ourselves in full…ever. That’s the catch. And you know why? Because we don’t even know ourselves in full. We can always surprise ourselves with a reaction. Well, we don’t actually surprise, we get surprised. “Who by?”, you might ask. It’s not a question of ‘who’, but rather a question of ‘what’. By our emotions.

And yes, I know this is just another rant, maybe an endless one, maybe a pointless one, but…is it? Didn’t I, in ranting on and on about how there’s no use in me telling you about myself, actually tell you more than you realize? More than I realize? We’ll never know, I guess…
