I remember love was mine,
All was perfect and divine,
The world had a new shine,
Like clouds’ silver outline.
But soon enough, love changed,
And in a second we were estranged.

I remember all those past years,
My vacant looks and silent tears,
The confusion, the pain, my fears.
All of a sudden - he appears.
He wipes my tears away
And he’s here to stay.

For me he’s ready to fight.
He’s my ray of sunshine, my light.
The one who eases my plight,
My precious piece of magnetite.
He’s the wind beneath my wing,
My hero, my everything.

And now I’m free.
World, listen to me!
He’s my king beside my throne,
A knight of my very own.
He treats me like a queen,
Makes my mind and body serene.
He’s my friend, my love, my enchanter,
My Happily Ever After.
