Light rain lingers on my skin
In my hand a bouquet of alfilaria
On my lips a playful grin
Me, impish, under a wisteria
Looking at the waning sun
I sit myself against the bark
Indigo rendering me undone
Welcoming me in the dark
The sweet spring breeze
Toying with my senses
Gifting me with ease
The feel of no defenses
I’ve been here many times before
Certain I shall visit again
This place, part of my lore
Of my soul, my dream arcane
Oh, lavender dream
Keep me some more
To bask in hues agleam
And forget all I deplore
Once again hide me away, mask my pain
Shower me in petals of purple and mauve
Build me a castle of amethyst and wolfsbane
Where tranquil I can meet my love
